One Day LANGUAGE! Overview/Training

Are you a newly assigned teacher of a DRWC class that uses LANGUAGE!? Or do you know someone who is? Please let them know that we are holding a one day overview/training on Friday, March 7, 2008.

The Wilshire Grand, 930 Wilshire Blvd., LA 90017 (Wilshire & Figueroa)

Time 8:00 – 3:00. 

Sub coverage, parking, Continental Breakast and lunch are included.

Please bring: Teacher Editions (for level you are teaching), Student Text, Interactive Text, and Resource Guide.

2008-09 Placement Memo

The Assessment and Placement of Students, Grades 5-10, for Intervention Program, DRWC, MEM-4097.0 is now available via Inside LAUSD.  If you require assistance with administering the Degrees of Reading Power (DRP), please contact your DRWC Expert/Specialist.

Please note that students assigned to PRP status after January 2007 should not be assessed for DRWC (see Scheduling Secondary English Learners and Staffing memo for details).
